ScoutPalSE3 brings affordable Laser barcode scanning technology to cell phone bookscouting. ScoutPalSE3 combines the ease of use of a cell phone
handset with the accuracy, speed and flexibility of a true Laser
scanner, producing a powerful integrated tool for wireless bookscouting.
The ScoutPalSE3 system will
work with any web-activated Nextel or BoostMobile 3-digit phone that has a Motorola "Falcon" style
accessory connector. (Click

confirm compatibility with your phone.)
Nextel currently sells one Falcon-style phone, the
ultra-rugged i365. Many other older Boost and Nextel model phones are
compatible, including the i265, i275, i355, i415, i560, i576, i615, i670, i760,
i850, and i880 and other models that have a
Falcon-style connector.
You can choose to activate the phone with a Nextel pre-paid contract, or
with low-cost, no contract BoostMobile
pay-as-you-go service.
If you purchase a phone on eBay, be sure that it is a compatible
model, and find out first if it will come with a SIM card. If it
does not have a SIM, you can buy a Boost SIM Starter Kit
directly from ScoutPal or on eBay.
