AutoISBN automatically
converts an
EAN-13 (978-xxxxxxxxx)
bar code scan to its underlying 10-digit ISBN.

Note: You would
only need to purchase the AutoISBN driver if you will be
scanning books into an older application program which
cannot accept EAN-13 bar digits. All
programs and functions from ScoutPal accept EAN-13.

To test your program,
simply try entering EAN-13 digits instead of
10-digit ISBNs. If your program can accept and process
EAN-13 digits as-is, you will be able to use the
standard driver that comes with the ROV scanner. If not,
then you would need the AutoISBN software driver
upgrade.
