ScoutPal IVR Lookup
The ScoutPal IVR (Interactive Voice Response) service allows you to do ScoutPal lookups
(lowest, total number of offerings, sales rank) using voice services with any telephone or cell phone that transmits a Caller ID. You can speak or type an ISBN or UPC, and ScoutPal IVR will speak the results back to you. This
optional Premium Service for ScoutPal subscribers is available with a 15 minute free trial, and additional time can be purchased at $9.99 per hour.
To begin IVR use, use your desktop computer to login to ScoutPal, and click on "Additional Service Addresses."
Enter the full phone number (including area code) in the "IVR Phone Number" field. You may change this phone number at any time, and any remaining IVR
usage time you may have will transfer to the new phone number.
To purchase additional IVR usage time, click on the "View and Purchase IVR Usage Time" button.
A page showing your current IVR minute balance will be displayed, and
you can then enter the number of hours of additional IVR time you wish to purchase.
After a free trial is selected, or IVR usage time has been purchased with PayPal, a "Welcome to ScoutPal IVR" email is sent to the email address that you have on file with ScoutPal, and if IVR time has been purchased, to your PayPal email address. The "Welcome" email will include instructions for using ScoutPal IVR, along with the toll-free ScoutPal IVR access number and the passcode.
ScoutPal IVR usage is metered by the minute, and you can check the number of minutes remaining for your use at anytime by saying "STATUS" while using ScoutPal IVR.
