Basic Instructions to Add/Delete/Update Funding Sources in PayPal:
You may wish to contact PayPal for further instructions
on how to manage your PayPal account, but here some general instructions
on how to add/delete credit cards and bank accounts in PayPal, and change
your ScoutPal subscription to use them:
-
You can add additional credit cards and bank accounts
to your PayPal account at any time, to be used as you desire.
- You can change your ScoutPal subscription at any time to use any credit
card or bank account that is established in PayPal.
-
To add a credit card or bank account, Login to PayPal
and click on Profile. Then click on "Credit Cards" or "Bank Accounts"
under "Financial Information", and then add the new account. PayPal will
give you further instructions on how to fully establish the new account.
DO NOT delete the current credit card or bank account that is being used
for ScoutPal subscription payments. If you do, PayPal will prematurely
cancel your subscription!
-
Change ScoutPal Subscription Funding Source: After you
have fully established a new credit card or bank account with PayPal,
search your PayPal history to find your original ScoutPal subscription
record. You can also bring up any of your previous ScoutPal subscription
payments, and there will be a link to the original subscription record.
Once you have the original ScoutPal subscription record opened up in PayPal,
scroll down to the "Subscription Funding Source" selection. Click on "Credit
Card", and select the newly added credit card from the list. Click "Update
Information", and from then on your ScoutPal subscription payments will
be paid using the new credit card.
-
Remove A PayPal Funding Source: You can if you wish delete
unused credit cards or bank accounts from PayPal's list of accounts, but
only do this after you have changed the ScoutPal subscription funding
source to use the new credit card or bank account.
