ScoutPal "Add-On" Subscription

The ScoutPal Terms Of Service is similar to any other software product: A subscription license is for personal use, on one cell phone or computer at a time. If someone else wants to use ScoutPal, then they need their own subscription. The ScoutPal server will recognize if your login is being used by more than one phone or computer at a time, and if this persists your ScoutPal subscription will be automatically suspended.

But if you would like a family member or employee to use ScoutPal, you can set them up with an "Add-On" subscription, and the good news is that it is half price, at $14.95 Quarterly. An Add-On subscription is specifically made available for your family or employee use only.

There are a number of ScoutPals who have enlisted employees or their entire family to bookscout with them. Each Add-On subscriber is assured that their searches will not get mixed up with others, and they will each have their own result formats and search histories.

If you would like a family member or employee to subscribe to ScoutPal in this way, they should simply follow ALL of the standard subscription steps, including the "test your phone/pda" step. (If the add-on subscription is to be used with a ScoutPalSE scanner+phone system, begin at http://scoutpal.com/registernickname and bypass the "test" step.)

But whenever prompted by ScoutPal for an Amazon Nickname during the signup process, they should enter your Amazon Nickname with "#2" tacked on at the end, e.g. "yournickname#2". Note that this is referring to your Amazon Nickname, and not your ScoutPal ID. Be sure to enter your Amazon Nickname as it is on file with ScoutPal, even if you have changed it on Amazon since then. If you are unsure of the exact Amazon Nickname that is on file with for your account, login from the scoutpal.com home page, and click on "Subscription Services" to see it displayed.
If you have another family member or employee, they can use "yournickname#3", and so on.

Each subscriber using your Amazon Nickname will create their own unique ScoutPal ID and password during the subscription process. The subscription system will automatically recognize that an Add-On subscription is being created, and offer the reduced price via PayPal.

In summary, just go to http://www.scoutpal.com, and click on "Getting Started". Follow ALL of the instructions in order to setup the Add-On subscription, including the "test your phone" step, but remember to enter always enter the Amazon Nickname with that "#2" tacked on at the end, whenever prompted for an "Amazon Nickname", throughout the whole subscription process.
